School Trips and Event Updates
Transition year Activities 2025
September- Transition years have started their year off great with a bonding activity with Darragh which was based around team building and learning to work as a group. Thanks to Ms Gilmore for organizing this. TY's also participating in TY forensics which included hunting down JFK's killers which was really interesting for students.
They have also had talks on a Business Enterprise for this year and entered themselves in the GAA leaders program. Thanks to Mr Blake, Ms Bane and Ms McMahon for organising all events.
First year trip to Derg Isle 2025
In September our 34 first year students visited Derg Isle where they went to bond with their new classmates for one day. They had a great day out with Ms McMahon and Sharon. The students participated in a variety of activities including obstacle course, zip lining and kayaking. These activities are used to bond classmates and friends together and building team spirit within the year.
Gaelbhratach
Bhí lá álainn againn inniu i gColáiste Mhuire gan Smál i Luimneach ag Bronnadh Gaelbhratach 2024. Tháinig triúr dár gcoiste, T.J Keane, Amy Roche agus Aoife Keane, go Luimneach chun ár mbrat a ghlacadh!! Táimid fíor bhródúil astu, ag go raibh míle do gach dalta a bhí páirteach i mbliana!! Comhghairdeas dosna scolaírí go léir.
Green Schools Flag - Awards Ceremony
In May, three Green School Committee representatives, Katie Troy, Amy Roche and Ava Robertson accompanied by Miss Harvey and Miss Hehir attended the Green School Awards Ceremony in Galway. Congratulations to the Green School Committee on all their work this year, we were delighted to be presented with the Green Schools Flag for the 23/24 school year.
First Year Bonding Trip 2023
In October , our first year students went on their bonding trip to Derg Isle. The students engaged in a variety of activities, aimed towards boosting teamwork and collaboration, activities included zip lining, obstacle courses and kayaking.
