Covering a range of plays, poetry, films, novels and non- literacy texts, students delve into different worlds and experiences. Reading and literacy are at the core of our every day experiences and English class further develops student's ability to think critically, communicate effectively, and appreciate the power of language. Through discussion, analysis, and creative expression, they learn to interpret meaning, challenge perspectives, and articulate their own ideas with confidence.
As well as English, Ms Lynch teaches a branch off English with subjects such as TY Public speaking and TY community Care. These are a part of the TY Curriculum and allow students to speak in front of others for a range of purposes. They attend the local primary school, scoile Realt N Mara to read to Junior and Senior infants students
